EMORC was created around mid 1987 by a group of Off Road enthusiasts to cater for all makes of off road vehicle. We are affiliated to the RAC Motor Sports Association and run under their rules.
We actively promote competitive events which are in the main Cross Country Vehicle (CCV) Trials (slow speed over very demanding terrain between canes). These feature classes not only for specially built trials vehicles (CCV) but we also have classes for road taxed vehicles (RTV).
You will be amazed at how much adrenalin you can cook up at less than 5mph!
A further class of vehicles compete in Competition Safaris (high speed timed stages).
We also have an active social side to the club which includes green lane runs and driving fun days.
We are well known for our relaxed and friendly attitude so why not make contact and spend a dirty weekend with us! Even if you do not own an off road vehicle, the club always welcomes marshals and there are always drivers looking for passengers in the trialling events, you will be made most welcome.
So why not have a look at the events diary for the next meeting and join in the fun?
